AI News: Model Releases and What They Mean
AI News follows the announcements that matter to developers and the people who run infrastructure: new models and products from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral and other labs, pricing and availability changes, and the tools built on top of them. We focus on what changed, who can use it, what it costs and what it means for your own work, rather than on hype.
Every news article separates official facts, taken from the company's own announcement, documentation or pricing page, from what users report after trying it, which we quote and link without claiming to have verified it. Our own opinion is in a clearly marked section, and a list of what we did not test tells you where the evidence ends. When the story develops, we add dated entries to the update log instead of publishing a near-duplicate article.
For hands-on guides to running open models on your own hardware, see the Local AI section. The latest news articles appear below as soon as they are published.
